HORSES FOR AUSTRALIA
The Wanganella, leaving Wellington tonight for Sydney and Melbourne, has on board-six New Zealand horses. They are F. W. Davis's four (the three-year-olds Courtcraft, Francis Drake, and Aiwai, and the two-year-old Homily) and Mrs. J. Campbell's pair (Willie Win and Silver Step).
Silver Step is a maiden seven-year-old gelding by Silverado from the Solferino mare Wartone, and he has not raced for three years. He was secured by Mrs. Campbell last month on lease from Mr. B. G. Dalgety as a companion on the trip for Willie Win. Davis will; disembark at Sydney but Mrs. Campbell is going on. to Melbourne,
