THEFT ALLEGED
SALESMAN REMANDED
Charged with. fraudulently omitting to account for or pay £10 to Dominion Motors, having received the money:on July 7 from M. Lambert on terms requiring' him to do so, Gerald Joseph Gibbs, a salesman, aged 42, appeared before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today.
Detective-Sergeant P. Doyle said that the accused was arrested yesterday by Detective G. Hogan, and asked for a week's remand.
Mr. P. Verschaffelt said that the accused was arrested when the Court was in session yesterday afternoon, and had been in custody all night. He opposed the remand.
A remand for a week was granted, and bail was fixed at £50, with one surety of that amount.
