MME. DE FONTANGE FINED
(Received July 30, 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, July 29. Madame do Fontangc, the former actress and journalist, who shot the Comptc de Chambrun, former French Ambassador to Rome, on the platform of the Care dv Nord, Paris, in March, and who chose to stand trial in the Correctional Court on charges of notideclaration of the possession of firearms, was sentenced to a year's imprisonment, but the sentence was suspended under the First Offenders' Act. She was also fined 100 francs.
