MISSIONARY AUXILIARY

The annual meeting of the Trinity branch of the Methodist Women's Missionary Auxiliary was held recently, the Rev. Walter Parker presiding.

The secretary, Mrs. H. W. Smith, presented the annual report, which showed an increase in membership during the year. It was stated that ths monthly meetings under the leadership of Mrs. Ramsden had been a help and inspiration to everyone. The interest in the work had been maintained by sisters' letters and the Dominion president's quarterly letters. The treasurer (Mrs. W. B. Brown) stated that the income for the year was over £40, being an increase on the previous year.

Both reports were adopted, and congratulations were extended to officers and members by the chairman.

A tribute was paid to Mrs. Ramsden in connection with the cookery book she published for the "Send the Doctor Fund,", the results of her effort to date totalling £82 10s.

Mrs. Ramsdeti was unanimously elected president for another year.

Afternoon tea was served by members.
