Mrs. Jack Coffey, Greymouth, is visiting Wellington and staying with her mother, Mrs. Brodrick, at Rona Bay. Mrs. C. H. Clibborn, Christchurch, is visiting her sister, Mrs. K. W. Conner, Wellington. Miss Patricia Grigg, Blenheim, who has been visiting England, returned to Wellington by the Rangitata. Miss A. B. Bowker, who has been on a trip to England, arrived in Wellington by the Rangitata. Mrs. W. B. Harris, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington, and is the guest of Mrs. C. E. Beeby. Mr.-and. Mrs. D. W. Black, Wellington, are visiting Timaru and staying at the Balmoral Hotel. Miss J. Mclntyre, New Plymouth, has returned home after visiting Wellington. Miss Tui Murtagh, Wellington, who has been paying a short visit to Hamilton, returned home on Wednesday night. Mrs. Charles Gardner, Hastings, accompanied by Mrs. M. R. G. Matheson and Miss Mildred Shaw, arrived in Wellington by car recently. Mr. F. S. Candy and Miss Lyndal Candy, Hastings, motored to Wellington to meet Miss Phyllis Candy, who arrived by the.Rangitata on Wednesday. Mrs. C.
