A Franco-German air agreement, which was made on June 12, includes provision • for co-operation in the Far East, as accord with Imperial Airways regarding Hong Kong and Singapore has not been reached. A French airline, ending at Hanoi, will merge with a new German line to . Shanghai through Syria, Irak, Afghanistan, and Chinese Turkestan. The convention also allows the German line the use of Damascus.
