PETONE-COURT
Cases in the Petdne Court yesterday were dealt with by Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M.
For parking an unlighted vehicle in Udy Street, Luther Sing Hare was fined 10s.
Fines were imposed as. follows in those cases where the speed limit of 30 m.p.h. was exceeded in the borough, the speed being given in parentheses:— William Thomas Gerald McGavin (35 m.p.h.), Thomas Bone Arbuthnott (37.5 m.p.h.), Frederick Cresswell (39.7 m.p.h.), Robert William Hutch inspn (41.8 m.p.h.), Sydney Frederick Haines (37.5 m.p.h.), Robert Thomas Jabez Hogg (41.8 m.p.h.), and Cyril Nausbaum (37.5 m.p.h.), £2 each and costs; Harold Barrett (37.5 m.p.h.) and Alberto Meo-(37.5 m.p.h.), 30s each and costs. For not having a tail-light to his vehicle, McGavin was fined 5s and cos Is.
