WELSH TREASURE HOUSE OPENED
LONDON, July 15. The King and Queen, after a second night train-journey, arrived at Abcrystwyth and opened the National Library of Wales, an ambitious building beautifully situated. The King, in a speech, expressed his joy at being among the people of Wales so soon after the Coronation. He described the library as a treasure house of the Welsh language, literature, and art, as well as a centre for the advancement of knowledge and the spread of culture The Royal party will return to London tonight.
