TRAINER'S SUDDEN DEATH
John Lindsay, well known at Kiccartr>n where he had .resided for many years died suddenly on Wednesday mThe nilte Mr. Lindsay spent the early part of his life in North Otago, where he was in the employ of Maurice Evans, a trainer at Oamaru. Later he had charge of Mr. -John .Buckley's horses, remaining as assistant when^H. Goodman took over the team. Alter he transferred to Riccarton he trained some horses for Mr. F. Gnffen. In more recent years he was with A. McAulay for some time, and at other periods he trained Jupiter and Eupator. Early this season he took charge of Dropped Catch and he still had that horse under his care at the time of his death.
