Glowing fires warmed*.the; reception •rooms, where bridge; was played, .:and early spring flowers' lent'their .colour and fragrance to the grooms. ,:V Avbiiffet afternoon tea was served inl.the'finingroom, which was decorated with vividhued chrysanthemums. . Songs were sung by. the hostess, and: Mrs: Craig McKenzie pave several delightful recitations. Some amusing competitions were held, and the party proved a most successful and enjoyable one;.
The Dionne quintuplets have' some new neighbours—the Brown-,triplets, all girls. The triplets have'been born to Mrs. Jonathan : Bro\ynj a, farmer* wife who lives quite.near the Dionne home at Callander, Ontario. .Together they weighed considerably,' more at birth than did the quins.. Their total weight was 161b. The five.Dionne girls weighed only 101b 2|oz together at birth. .
