AN INVITATION
CONTINGENT FOR AUSTRALIA
The Returned Sailors' and Soldiers' Imperial League' of Australia has invited a contingent of 1000 New Zealand ex-servicemen to visit Sydney during the celebrations of Australia's one 11 hundred and fiftieth anniversary in April, 1938, states the annual report of the New Zealand Returned Sol-; diers' , Association. .-,RaU, .travelling facilities in Australia have already been arranged, and it is understood that it will be possible for a great number to bebilletted. It is hoped that the contingent will head the march on Anzac Day, 1938. The committee of the N.Z.R.S.A. has replied to the invitation stating that every effort will be made, to arrange a worthy contingent for the visit. Some preliminary negotiations have already taken place. '
