' Stanley Roy Wilton, a machinist, employed at the Prestige Hosiery Mills, said that the deceased had told him that some stainless oil used on the machines in the factory had got into a cut on the back of his hand. The cut was abrasive, and was about a quarter of an inch long. It was stated in evidence that the deceased told' his father that he had knocked his finger, but did not say whether' or not he did so while at work. Dr. M. S. Riddell, of Wellington Hospital, said that the deceased was admitted, was sent home after treatment, and was readmitted later. . . _ .
