NOW A DENTAL CLINIC
POLITICAL ASSOCIATIONS
After having served as a residence for New Zealand" Prime Ministers' and Ministers of the Crown for 53 years,' the old Ministerial residence at No. 260 Tinakori Road has been converted into a school dental clinic, and will be used as an annex to the main dental clinic. Workmen have been engaged in refitting the residence during recent weeks, and some, 40' chairs have been installed, both on the ground floor and upstairs. The new clinic will be used this week, and the extra accommodation will greatly assist in relieving the congestion at Wellington. The conversion of th 2 Ministerial residence has been brought about by the expansion of, the school dental service. The intention of the Government j.a to provide a full school dental service within five years, of its assumption of office, and it is estimated that it; ?iaj reached the half-way mark in its objective. The Cambton Quay building will still remain the training headquarters for nurses, and practical work will be carried out there arid at 260 Tinakori Road also. ■
