LOWER HUTT ASSOCIATION

Recruit numbers were increasing and. keenness was much more marked. Badminton and ping-pong, in addition to miniature rifle shooting, were. all proving - extremely, popular •and the company's strength ■ was now higher than it had been for some years. A special and very jealously-guard-ed privilege, granted to the C (Hutt Valley) Company by the Mayor of Lower Hutt; empowers the company to parade with fixed bayonets on all local public occasions. This considerably adds to the appearance of troops on parade. .' ' ..'■ :' . ' Captain R. J.
