Professor' T. S. Sterling fetmerly secretary of the Universities' Bureau of' the British Empire, who has been visiting New Zealand and Australia to inquire into the immigration problem, is a through passenger by the Niagara, which arrived at Auckland from Sydney on Monday. Professor Sterling is going to England to watch the outcome of the Imperial Conference discussions on immigration and he intends to return to New Zealand next year. .
Dr. Walter Hellenthal, German Con^ sul for. New Zealand, who arrived at Auckland yesterday after a tour of the Pacific, returned to Wellington by the Limited Express today.
