DEFENDED DIVORCE SUIT
♦— • Evidence in a defended divorce action which began in the Supreme Court yesterday before Mr. Justice Smith and a jury of twelve closed today, the final addresses to the jury being in progress when the Court rose for lunch. The petitioner was Victor Norman Olaf Christopherson, master butcher (Mr. S. G. Stephenson), and the respondent, Ada Evelyn Christopherson (Mr. T. P. McCarthy). Alleged adultery was the ground for the petition, William Henry Cowley, a cartage contractor (Mr. R. Hardie Boys) being cited as co-respondent. (Proceeding.). .
