VETERAN'S OPINION
"As one of the veterans on parade on Coronation Day," writes "One of the Dinks," "I must agree with other correspondents in their remarks regarding the' volunteers. There is evidently something lacking. Putting aside the idea of war altogether—l am sure there is not one of us returned men wish to see any of that again—l am certain that a few years of compulsory training, under strict military discipline, would be the finest thing that could happen to the youth of today."
