"WAR BABIES"
Strong objection is taken by "1937" to references by correspondents to "war babies" and to the "very biased and caustic manner" in which the phrase "original thought" is applied by "Anti-Fassivist." Perhaps, he says, it is madness only which fosters original thought and perhaps apathetic war babies bear the mark of the maddest period history ever recorded. "Yonie" also declares that "AntiPassivist" shows a marked ignorance of the high degree of learning displayed by the "war babies" at the New Zealand University Colleges, when he fears for the.future of this country. "Yonie" adds that he has nothing to retract from his earlier letter.
