POLICE CONTROL
ELABORATE SYSTEM
(British Official Wireless.) (Received May 13, 2 p.m.) LONDON, May 12. The smooth working of today's arrangements is a remarkable tribute to the police organisation. An elaborate system of control, in which the points were linked by telephonejmd weless, had been devised. The marshall ng of the troops and the lining of the route, the diversion of the traffic, and the supervision of the enormous crowds were all carried through without a hitch. Twenty thousand police were on duty in the Coronation area. Ambulance men were stationed every five yards along the route, and over 10,000 minor casualties received assistance.
