WANGANUI, May, 12.
The pace was on all the way in a match played at Spriggens Park between the Wanganui Metropolitan Rugby representatives, who defeated a Victoria University College side by 29 points to 11. There was a large crowd, who were provided with entertaining fare.
At the ertd of the first spell the two teams were on level terms with 8 points each. In the second spell Wanganui gaincl the upper hand.
