The 18-hole stroke competition held on Sunday by the Athletic Park Golf Club was won by L. Finch, 73, 19—54, and E. F. Adams was second with 75, 18—57.
The Stableford event was won by Miss M. Clouston, with Mrs. B. Cunningham and T. J. Baber tieing for second place,
PAEKAKARIKI CLUB
In a bogey competition played on the Paekakariki links on Sunday P. Wheeler and N. Ewart tied with 2 down. H. Lynch and A. Jaggers were 3 down and G. Warring and A. Smith were 4 down. In the third round of the captain's trophy, G. Parkhouse beat G. Warring at the nineteenth. P. Page beat N. McKenzie 3 and 2. A. G. Barnett beat B. Lynch 6 and 5, and A. Jaggers beat A. Smith 1 up. The semi-finals will, be played next weekend. A fourball best-ball bogey competition resulted in a win on the count back for. P. Page and F. Marshall, 2 up;
