Nominations' for the six principal events at the Auckland Racing Club's Winter Meeting, to be held at Ellerslie on June 5, 9, and 12. aggregated 276, compared with 247 last year. The numbers in the various races, with those of last year in parentheses, are as follows:—Great Northern Hurdles, 38 (37); Cornwall Handicap, 41 (34); Great Northern Steeplechase, 38 (37); King George Handicap, 37 (4G); York Handicap. Gl l5G); and Winter Steeplechase, 41 (37).
