The New Zealand Overseas Ex-ser-vice Women's Association consists of nurses, masseuses, V.A.D.s,-ambulance drivers, and canteen workers, all of whom naturally like to keep in touch with each other, and recall the strenuous yet wonderful days they spent overseas -during the wartime, when op- [ portunities of helping suffering humanity were such as had not occurred before. The annual reunion of these fine i workers took-place recently at the '. Nurses' Club, Kensington, Street, when the cheery rooms were decorated with Iceland poppies, chrysanthemums, and scarlet berries, all artistically, arranged. '. Levin; Misses ■'. Wilson nnd Edmnnstone, Lower Hutt; Miss Sylvia Wilson. Lowry.Bay; Mrs. Boyce, Ma-ton. Others present intended Mrs. T. E. Corkill, Mrs. Duncan Stout, Mrs. Sadd, Mrs. Robertson. Mrs. Dick. Mrs. Fabling, Mrs. Ray. Mrs. Houghton, Mrs.- Wells. Mrs. Cory-Wright, Mrs. Mays; Misses C. Clark, M. Mackenzie, Whitehorn. Mcßan. B-andon. Ensdedue, Sugden. '. Eaddy, L. ' The election of officers.for the j'ear resulted in the same members remaining in office with the addition of Miss Inglis^ (as vice-prpsident). The committee consists of Misses Crispin, Clark, L. Bennett, and Pengelly: A donation of- three, guineas was voted to the Nurses' Memorial Fund. Later an excellent supper was, served by the matron of the club, Miss Mackersey. . ■'.-,'.
An; amusing competition was won by Misses E. Wilson and L. Tray.
