GISBORNE WOOL SALE.
An almost total clearance of wool oddments and sheepskins and hides was effected at' an auction held in Gis- ' borne on Tuesday by the Gisborne Woolbrokers' Association. The buyers included the usual representation from outside centres. The offering consisted of 346 bales of wool oddments, 6668 sheepskins, and 237 hides and calf skins. Prices for wool ranged as follows:—Good crutchings, 14d to 15Jd; second crutchings, lid to 12»d; fleece wools, 16d to 18Jd; locks, 9d to lOd. The market for skins was very firm, prices making up to 17£ d for full-wpoll-ed fine-fleece skins.: .. . :
