BULLS MARKET.
Fair entries in all sections came forward at the Bulls sale on Tuesday. The quality of the lambs penned was not particularly good, but competition was forthcoming for sheep, cattle, and pigs, and there was practically a total clearance at satisfactory prices. Realisations were as follows:—
B.f. lambs, 18s; small ewe lambs, 15s 8d; small wether lambs, 3s Bd, 5s 4d, 9s 2d; fattening ewes, 12s, 16s Id. Fat dairy cows,. £3 18s to £5 15s; fat Jersey heifers, £3 Is to £5 18s; weaner Jersey heifers, £2 15s; four-year Jersey bull, £4 10s.
Weaner pigs, 8s to 9s; slips, 10s, 12s; store pigs, 18s 6d; porkers, 23s 6d to 30s 6d.
