A suggestion that the front of the Wellington Boys' College buildings j should be flood-lit on the evening of Coronation Day was made by the headmaster, Mr. W. A. Armour, to yesterday's meeting of the Wellington Col--j leges Board of Governors. Mr. Armour said he'did not know if the City Corporation was prepared to consider the college in its scheme of illumination, but he thought that if the whole building could not be lit up it might be possible 'to flood-light the Memorial Hall. The board decided, because of the cost of flood-lighting and the fact that the other colleges would have to be considered in such a scheme, to have the memorial lamps lighted on the evening of Coronation.
