FLYING DUCHESS

RUGBY, March 24.

The search was continued unsuccessfuUy throughout the day in five counties for the Duchess of Bedford,, who has been 'missing since Monday afternoon, when she took off from her private aerodrome on Woburn Abbey Estate for ' a short solo' flight. '

Twenty Royal Air Force aeroplanes and a number of private machines took part in today's search, and on the ground it was undertaken by hundreds of police and volunteers.

Reports have been received of the aeroplane haying been seen flying th'rougli V'snpwstorm. ' :
