ACCEPTABLE GIFTS
WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE
Mrs. L. O. H. Tripp presided' at a recent meeting of the Women's National Reserve Owen Street Residential Nursery Committee. The reports-of the emergency committee on numerous matters dealt with were considered highly satisfactory. The matron's reports were also most cheering and encouraging. Various gifts enabled the furnishings of the Nurses' Home to be replenished. The deputy president of the nursery, Mrs. D. B. Gibbons, gave some interesting information in regard to the meetings she had held. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the matron for her t gifts of vegetables from' her Otaki garden. These had been given for the past two years, and helped the nursery considerably, x . The treasurer, Miss Wilshire, reported the receipt of the following donations: —Island Bay Circle, £1; the Oriental Bay-Roseneath branch, £9 10s. Mesdames L. O. H. Tripp, Alex Crawford, Pope, and D. F. Tonks, who are leaving shortly for a trip abroad, were granted leave of absence. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Mrs. Porter presided at the management committee meeting, and welcomed Mrs. Macdonald (secretary of the Wadestown branch) and Mrs. Priestley, (acting president of KelburnNorthland '. branch).
