A meeting, over which Ramsay MacDo'nald presided, ' has " been held and,attended by representatives of the Government and representatives of the Dominions and colonies, relative tp sugar. A preliminary discussion of the programme 'of the sugar conference took place and the meeting decided to refer- certain ' difficulties to technical experts who will report to Mr. MacDonald.
