MAY BE LIFTED
, BAN ON MRS. FREER
CANBERRA, March 11.
The Federal Cabinet today discussed the case of Mrs. M. M. Freer as a result of an application from her solicitor for a review of the circumstances of the ban on her.
The Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, later declined to comment other than saying that the position at this stage was unchanged.
It was ascertained by Pressmen at Canberra that there is a disposition among a majority of the members of Cabinet to lift the ban on Mrs. Freer when a suitable opportunity offers to allow her to enter Australia quietly.
