W. Copson (Derbyshire), T. S. Worthington (Derbyshire), A. R. Gover (Surrey), C. J. Barnett (Gloucestershire) and the : Indian Merchant have been designated the five, cricketers of the year, based on performances in 1936, in "Wisden's Almanack."
