Sir,—l should like to endorse "Albion Rover's" views on the modern trend. I, too, have arrived at the conclusion that, people expend all their energy on so-called sport, and so they are quite incapable of thinking of what is happening in other parts of the world when nations with the .instincts of savagery and the conveniences of modern invention are massacring other human beings under the heading of Christianity. I think, we are fortunate in having the protection of. a stronger power.—l am, etc.
