THEFT AND DRUNKENNESS
Charged with a second offence of drunkenness, and with the theft of a wristlet watch valued at £.5, Joseph McCarthy, ship's fireman, aged 44, appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. He pleaded guilty. Detective-Sergeant W. Kane said that the man was arrested yesterday afternoon for, drunkenness, and articles were-found in his possession. There were other charges pending. The accused was' fined 10s, in default 48 - hours' imprisonment, oh the drunkenness count, and was remanded on the other charge until March 18.
