The 1937 season of the newly-formed Wellington Juvenile: Amateur Theatrical Society is novv commencing, lne objects of the society are "to foster interest and tuition m histrionic art in all its branches for junior performers, and in particular in pantomimes, musical productions, plays, and vaude. ville." Mr. Assheton Harbord, L-R-A.M-, late of Hollywood,.is producer Mid Mr. Joseph Knowsley is' ballet master. The stage manager is Mr. Ered. H. C. Smith Thi society be best remembered by its latest production, the Christmas pantomime "Aladdin," which achieved a remarkable success.
