SOAP WORKERS
DISSATISFIED WITH AWARD
At a .fully-attended meeting ■of the Wellington soap and candle workers in Petone last night disapproval of the new award was expressed and the following ■-, motion was passed unanimously:— . / "That this meeting of soap workers in the Wellington industrial district strongly disapproves of the conditions of the new award and the decision of the Court and ask that the' Minister intervene before drastic action .is -taken. Further,'thai; this meeting has no faith in the personnel of the "Court of Arbitration, arid recommends that the .Government investigate its activities.'.'.
