KARORI BOWLING CLUB
In the final game for the junior singles championship of the Karori Bowling Club H. Cummings beat H. Taylor,. ■'..-.
The champion pairs competition was won by A. Dempster and F. Platt, who beat W. .Thorn and H. Field in the final.
The champion teams semi-final will be played on Saturday, next, beginning at 9.30 a.m., the teams being McFarlane, Dyett, Gapes, and Crawford, and Thorn, Townsley, Christensen, and Platt. . - : -' . : ■
Three teams from Otaki were entertained last Saturday on the club's greens, and the visitors took the shield away with them. During the afternoon Karori members toasted the club team which was successful in the returned soldiers' tournament. :
