NAPIER, This Day.
THe Union Company's cargo steamer Sydney. The seaman' who took ill on Waitaki arrived at 7.30 a.m. today from the voyage, necessitating Captain A. S. Dalgleish, master of the vessel, communicating with the Awatea by radio and asking the advice of her surgeon as to proper treatment, has now quite recovered.
