ANXIETY FOR PEARLING FLEET

DARWIN, This Day.
Grave anxiety is felt for the safety of the Darwin pearling fleet, compris-
ing about fifty vessels, and the mission lugger St. Nicholas because of a fierce cyclone which is raging at present off the coast of Arnhem Land. None of the luggers is equipped with wireless and it is not known whether they bay been able to reach safety.
