L. J. ELLIS'S CONDITION
Private information received a day or two ago in Dunedin concerning the jockey L. J. Ellis is not pleasing. He has been suffering from trouble in one eye for some time as a result of a fall at Wingatui in 1932, and a danger exists that he may lose the sight of that eye.
