GIRL ATHLETES
SPLENDID DISPLAY
INTER-HOUSE ASSOCIATION
In spite of a strong northerly wind that was blowing across the Winter Show Stadium on Saturday afternoon, there was a large crowd of spectators watching the sports meeting of the Wellington Inter-House Girls Association, in which about 90 healthy girls ""Something different and interesting" would summarise the meeting. The physique of some of the girl athletes was excellent, and there were some first-class performances, although no times were taken. Of the eight teams competing, Woolworths were the most successful, gaining 62 points. Next came Prestige Hosiery 29, and Bryant and May 26. The novelty events were a feature of the programme. Marching contests and physical drill .^ere .splendidly done, aiidl circle ball; zig-zag and overhead relay,, spry ball, the.
