ROWING
Despite a stiff north-westerly on Saturday afternoon, the Petone Rowing Club held a race for the club's junior novice fours. The winning crew was D. J. Boswell' (str), S. Foley, R. Delaney, and F. Barry, who won by a length from Calvert's and Barraclough's crews. In the first heat of the novice pairs for the Hornig Cup, Phillips and Wills beat Delaney and Foley.
