MONKS ON STRIKE
THREAT OF UNFROCKING

CAIHO, March 5.
Despite a threat of unfrocking, the stay-in-strike monks, continued their defiance, stating that they are prepared for a two years' siege.
Unfrocking would render them in illegal possession of the monastery, whereupon the authorities would be justified'in evicting them by force.
