JOSEPH HOCKING
LONDON, March 4. . Joseph Hocking, the novelist, is dead.
• Joseph Hocking, who was a prolific writer of novels, was educated to be a surveyor. In 1884 he entered the Ministry, and later, after travelling extensively in Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, and Greece, he took up writing.
