There was a large attendance at the Franklin Racing Club's Meeting today. The weather was dull but fine and the going easy after recent rain. Results:—
Puni Hurdles- Handicap, £160; 1 mile and 5 furlongs.—l-2 High Quality, 10.12 (Walters).,.!; 3-3 English Night, 9.8, 2; 2-1 Curlew, 10.0, 3. Scr: Benighted.' Five lengths, length and a half. Time, 2min 53 3-ssec.
Waiuku Hack Handicap, £130; 6 fur-longs.—2-2 Paso Robles, 8.10, 1; 5-4 Racemosus, 8.4,2; 11-11 Valmint, 8.10, 3. Scr: The Vamp. Three-quarters of a length, neck.
