INADEQUATE FiNANCE

LONDON, March 1
Labour members of the House ot Commons severely criticise the White Paper on depressed areas, which tha. "Daily Herald" calls a Black Paper.
Dr. H. Dalton describes the measures as inadequate and the finance grossly insufficient. The Government, he says, is only providing as much for the encouragement of new industries as Lord Nuffield, whose gift of £2,000,000 is recalled.
