RUMOUR OF MARRIAGE
(Received January 23, 11.30 a.m.) CHICAGO, January 22. rffousand people gathered at tfab County Building following a rutttuur that Katharine Hepburn and Howard Hughes had obtained a licence and were to marry immediately, but neither of the principals arrived. Later Miss Hepburn, whete appearing in a theatre here, sent a maid from her hotel room with the message, "I will not marry Hughes in Chicago today."
