INVESTMENTS OVER £75,000 A fine day and a westerly gale were Trentham's portion for the continuation of the Wellington Racing Club's Summer Meeting yesterday. The crowd was one of the largest ever on the course. The day's investments amounted to £76,291 (£31,706 win; £44,585 place), the best turnover since pre-de-pression times. There was no racing on Anniversary Day last year, owing to the late King George V's death the preceding day. For the first two days of the meeting the turnover was £119,602 10s, as compared with £68,945 for the first two days last year. Results were:—' Mungaroa Highweight Handicap,
