QUEEN CARNIVAL AT OTAKI
The queen carnival, which has been in progress for some weeks, closed on Wednesday night. The Town queen (Miss Daphne Bills) was declared elected, the Beach queen (Miss Ngaire Bevan) |?cond, and the Railway queen (Miss Doris Morgan) third. As a result of the carnival about £500 will be raised lor town improvement.
