BURNS ANNIVERSARY.

The St. Andrew Burns Club will hold its third anniversary dinner in the Masonic Hall, The Terrace, on Saturday evening, when it,, is anticipated that the outstanding successes of previous dinners will be repeated. The toast to the "Immortal Memory" will be proposed by the president of the club, Mr. J. G. MacKenzie, and the "Address to the Haggis" will be given by Mr. J. B. Thomson, who has performed this service in many lands during the past 30 years and who is an accomplished exponent of the poet's works.

In addition, items will be given by such well-known artists as Miss Webb, Mr. McNair, Miss Grade McKay, Mr. Peter Isbister, Mrs. Morrish. Mr. J. L. Steel, and Mr. and Mrs. McWhinnie. The dinner will be a typically Scots one, and the skirl of the bagpipes, played by Pipers McCallum and Graham, will give the atmosphere a real Scottish touch. The accommodation in the hall is limited, and early application should be made for tickets. n supply of which will be on sale at the hall.
