NEW YORK SUSPENSION FAILURE TO SIGN FOR BOUT (Received January 2, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 31. Mr. Sam Pian, manager of the world"! champion welterweight boxer, Barney Ross, has been suspended indefinitely by the New York Athletic Commission for failure to sign a contract for Rost to defend his title against Garcia. Rosi has not been suspended, but he will be barred from appearing in a bout in the State until he fights Garcia.
